What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit or use GlowCheck. Cookies help the platform remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the app so we can improve it.
Cookies are not programmes and cannot carry viruses or malware. They cannot access any other information on your device.
What Cookies Does GlowCheck Use?
We use four categories of cookies. Some are essential and cannot be switched off; others are optional and require your consent.
1. Essential Cookies
These are strictly necessary for GlowCheck to function. Without them, you would not be able to log in, navigate the app, or use core features. Because these are essential, they do not require your consent.

3. Preference Cookies
These remember your settings and choices within GlowCheck — such as your display preferences, notification settings, and saved filters — so you don't have to re-enter them each time you use the app.

4. Marketing Cookies

Do Not Track
Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. GlowCheck currently does not alter its behaviour in response to DNT signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret them. We recommend managing your preferences directly via the cookie settings described above.
How We Obtain Your Consent
When you first use GlowCheck, you will be shown a cookie banner asking for your consent to non-essential cookies. You can choose to accept all, reject all, or customise your preferences by category.
Your consent is recorded and stored, and you can change it at any time. We do not use pre-ticked boxes or treat continued browsing as consent.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we introduce new features that use cookies, or if third-party providers change. We will update the date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, notify you via the app.
